hey, i'm mike, born in april '06. 2nd-year in the NES-HSE joint program in economics, widely regarded as Russia's leading econ program.

backstory

how i got here

i grew up in moscow chasing two things that didn't usually sit at the same table: markets and behavior. econ explained why people do things at scale, but never quite answered the small questions about how a single person decides to skip a drink, finish a run, or quit a habit. so i started building toward the seam between them.

along the way: case comps, an analytics championship, a macroeconomics hackathon at the Bank of Russia, and a startup project designed for the sober-curious generation. i care about products that make behavior change feel less like discipline and more like a better default.

  february-march: Harvard case championship, top 10 globally.

  april: microeconomic seminars from the Bank of Russia.

  july-august: USA study trip. planning to meet entrepreneurs, builders, and people in the startup space, especially in SF and NYC.

  semi-finalist: Finopolis, top 15 out of 450 teams in one of Russia's most rigorous fintech case championships.
